Operation Jumpstart Alternative School

Level 1 - Entry

Learn all that you can about the program. Study your Handbook. If you are not clear on something, ask a staff member. Set goals for your return to a regular campus. Take RESPONSIBILITY for identifying issues/problems that have caused you problems in the past, and begin thinking about and developing ways to solve these problems when they arise. Complete all classwork and homework. Respond with RESPECT and follow all staff directions when they are first given. Use manners at all times. Develop your personal INTEGRITY, wear your uniform correctly, stick to your goals, don't allow others to choose your path, and don't give up. Achieve 80% compliance to earn Level 2.

Level 2 - Compliance

You know the program and have taken RESPONSIBILITY for its completion. You know the Handbook. You are actively working on reaching your goals. You are not having to be corrected often. When you are corrected, you respond with RESPECT and do not make the situation worse by reacting in a negative manner. Class work and homework are completed without fail. Grades are improving. Dress code is no longer an issue. Your INTEGRITY will not allow you to whine and complain or make excuses; you are a problem solver, not a problem creator. You don't laugh at others' poor behavior. You are trying each week to reach 90% compliance to earn Level 3.

Level 3 - Master

You can teach the program to others. You have taken RESPONSIBILITY , you don't need reminders, and you don't blame others. You are a self-starter, a leader, and an example. You are able to work and play independently. You RESPECT yourself, others, and authority. You are never rude. You are proud of your accomplishments, yet never boastful; you have developed INTEGRITY and it is apparent to whomever you encounter. You have reached your goals! You have earned Level 3 privileges.
